Sitting down all day at a PC isn't exactly great for your health. Regularly getting up and moving around is advised, but you could also invest in a standing desk and remove the sitting down aspect completely. But sitting or standing, your desk likely has lot of loose cables down the back. Lian Li solves that and the sitting/standing choice with the DK-05 desk.

Lian Li isn't new to the standing desk category, and this counts as the fifth iteration of their DK line. The DK-05 is an electrical height adjustable desk with a tempered glass surface and aluminum frame. Inside you'll find room for the components of two performance PCs, with support for a couple of large EATX motherboards.

Each system has access to four 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drive bays and room for ATX power supplies. So if you want to put two Core i7 systems each running Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics cards, go right ahead as you can fit the power supplies to support them. The motorized height changing also means you don't have to worry about weight.

On the back of the desk you'll find space for up to seven case fans or two radiators for water-cooled systems. On the front there's two panels, one per PC, offering access to a USB 3.1 Type C port, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, headphone jack, Mic, power button, and RGB controller dials. The desk also offers height adjustment presets, so you can find the sitting and standing positions that work best and have the desk remember those exact heights.

The only cables you'll need to run outside of the desk are for power and to your displays. As long as you use a wireless keyboard and mouse that makes for an extremely tidy setup.

It should come as no surprise that this is an expensive desk. Amazon lists the previous DK-04 model as costing $1,658. Fudzilla believes the DK-05 will cost as much as $2,099. It's not a small desk either, measuring 1,400mm wide and 780mm deep with a height adjustment between 689 and 1,175mm. The weight before installing system components is around 50kg.
