MINNEAPOLIS—The defense of the former police officers charged in the killing of George Floyd could come into sharper focus Monday when all four officers will appear in a pretrial hearing in Minneapolis.
Former officer Derek Chauvin is charged with second-degree murder for pinning George Floyd down by the neck until he stopped breathing and had no pulse. The three other officers who arrested Mr. Floyd are charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder.
